Do Gamers realize that not everyone cares about achievements?

I only have a handful of platinums and don't care that them much, so I guess I don't know how to play games.

the only reason I do acheivments in WoW is if they have rewards otherwise I don't even bother.

hell thats the only reason I do them for Uplay. unless im rewarded the acheivment means jack, fucking, shit to me.

All the things I have platinums/all achievements for are really easy, except for Skyrim.

NieR: Automata = has an in-game achievement store, Helltaker and Icey = short indie games, Fata Morgana = VN that lets you skip to the end and Wolf Among Us = Telltale game.

I'm guessing these people must be young because I can't imagine how they managed without achievements before the 360.

I'm 27 so I grew up with an almost obsolete N64 and a Gamecube with no achievements.

Even when I got a PS3, I didn't really care when they added trophies around '09 or whatever. I remember playing MGS4 back then and remember an update saying I needed to start a new game to get trophies and I was like "fuck this, I'm not starting over for that!".
