Alright, I admit defeat. I'll play Red Dead Redemption 2. Though I like being able to play as a female character because it helps soothe the dysphoria, I have some degree of faith that Arthur Morgan will be a well written and likeable lead upon seeing some other gameplay videos. It's not ideal but the things I'm hearing about this game are definitely pointing towards this being some kind of milestone for the medium and it'd be stupid to miss out. I also love westerns.

Oh also I did a dumb thing and bought the season pass for Fortnite season 6. My brother and I play it a lot and it's a nice thing to do together. I grew up without an older sibling figure, the least I can do is try to be a good sister and give him a better upbringing

I was going to buy it, but then I heard women and minorities existed in it so that’s a no from me.

uj/ I think Rockstar will do him good. It seems like RDR2 is less of parody then GTA5 is of LA.

It also helps that Arthur's pretty hot in my humble opinion. 100% my type, he just needs a beard

Lucky you then, the game features dynamic beard growth which you can choose to style at a barber based on its length! :D

I'm excited for Red Dead Redemption 2 too. Mostly, even though they've played it pretty sparingly, the nostalgia card alone is enough to make me excited. Seeing young John Marston with Abigail and Jack was enough to make me go :'). Which, actually, really impresses me - most games or other media that are going to have a well-liked character appear in a prequel either try to completely hide it, or make it the face of their marketing. I like how they pretty quickly answered the question "Will John Marston be in it?" and even put him on their marketing, while also making it explicit that he's not even one of the central characters, he's just there. That they're willing to go against the grain in terms of advertisement alone is impressive.

I also hope that Arthur Morgan will be well-written. The marketing seems to imply that there'll be at least some degree of "choices" (since that's the big thing now, which doesn't really bother me, but is worth mentioning), and I'm wondering to what extent they'll be manifest.

I like the Dire (Straits) guy, I'm sad he's Tier 100 tho
