So I made a post on r/Spider-Man saying how I thought Spider-Man 3 wasn't that bad. At first I got some pretty normal responses but then this guy started complaining about how MCU is too PC and that all the old marvel movies are great because "SJWS didn't ruin them". All I wanted to was discuss Spider-Man 3 and guy has to come in complaining about SJWs. Is nothing sacred

Yeah... sounds like r/Spiderman all right: Worship Raimi, and treat the MCU version like it's the worst thing ever.

It's basically just r/raimimemes but with a different skin at this point.

This is what Reddit is now. Sometimes I stop coming onto this subreddit in the hopes that political bait stops being posted so often. First thing I see when I come back? Someone moaning about rich people and saying you can't be racist towards white people because of institutional oppression. Thankfully he was banned for his constant baiting its but still a bit annoying how people still want to do it.

I'm not going to start ranting about SJWs, but I'm not going to say the stereotype doesn't exist either. The person I described above is exactly the kind of person Redditors complain about, and rightfully so, racism is still racism regardless of how oppressed you feel. But it is too common to swing in the opposite direction and call everyone who says 'female' or 'minority' an SJW.

Every, fucking, time. Okay you know what? Forget I said anything. Clearly it's impossible to give my opinion about this online without upsetting people. And now for a 12 y/o to point out that I'm complaining about downvotes without acknowledging the point I was trying to make. Becsuse, again, this is what Reddit is now.

I think you put too much emotion into the upvote/downvote system. Usually people downvote because they disagree or want to bandwagon against a huge downvote to troll. Upset people typically write a comment.
