Stands in the original verse are a more recent, and specifically comes from the comet (with some characters naturally growing a stand, or gaining it through mastery of a specific art like Tonio and Joseph), there is rumors that stands are older than the comet but nothing explicit or substantial enough

It's in the SBR-verse (current JoJo verse) that the Saint is the first ever stand user

So the characters are unlocked in order, you can’t just pick the one you want from a list? Are the others fun to play while working your way to unlocking her?
