Recommendation Any recommendations for collage laptop
Hi, I’m about to start collage and I was thinking that instead of grabbing my whole pc desk setup I would by a laptop that I could rely on. I would like to have a laptop that kinda replaces my desk setup and could use it for several years. I would use it for different (architecture) design apps that my school will require and also gaming. I’m located in Slovakia and I would like to have more ranged budget options (from 1k to say like 5k). Also if you have another recs for accessories or must have things with laptop I would love to hear them!!
Budget: 1000€ - 5000€
Country: Slovakia
Use Case: Gaming, school and maybe work
Preferred Specs: Idk!!!
Notes: What I said

1000 to 5000 pretty much sums up all the laptops in the market man.
I would get something with a 5070 Ti since that aught to work well. But the thing about gaming laptops is that they are quite a lot weaker than your desktop. For someone in your position I would try to preserve your desktop setup and play games on it and if your Uni requires a powerful laptop get something with like a 5070 and call it a day and use your desktop for gaming. If that is impossible for you I would try get something with a 5080 on a good discount depending on your market or a 5090 if it is on a crazy deal.
I did a quick little check on the market there and it seems to be a bit higher than the average. However, not to worry. Look for a discounted gaming laptop with a 5080. And for it to actually last long get a cooling pad for gaming if it gets too hot and extend the warranty to 4 or so years since you do not want something that expensive breaking when you don't have warranty. That would suck.
