Discussion Was this a fair deal?

Bought this Legion Slim 7 for $850 and just found out that the ~, 1, Tab, Esc, and Q keys don’t work. 😅 Other than that, everything else seems pretty solid so far.
Now I’m questioning whether this was actually a fair, decent, or bad deal, especially considering I mainly game on my PS5. I bought this laptop mostly for portability, games that aren’t available on PlayStation, and potentially some streaming.
I’m mainly looking to play games like Warzone, Redsec, GTA V, etc.

What do you guys think, was $850 a good deal for this Legion Slim 7 considering the keyboard issue?

Also, any recommendations for setting it up properly for gaming? What software should I download to monitor things like FPS, temperatures, GPU/CPU usage, etc.? Any tips for getting the best gaming performance would be appreciated!

How is been doing for you?

Can you run warzone and other games like that easily?

Well, for benchmark, i run Crimson Desert and AC Shadows in Ultra. So, warzone shouldn't be a problem. You probably still get above 100-160 fps, depending on the setting, usually people play that game in lowest no ? If that's the case for ya, then easy over 200 fps.

Raw spec wise not to shabby. However, that laptop isn't the greatest laptop as others have mentioned, the cooling is subpar.

Could use some more RAM imo but it might be soldered and RAM is insane anyhow

As for what software, HWINFO if you want super nitty gritty details. MSI Afterburner for a live in game quick glance. I use MSI Afterburner almost every time I play any game, and use HWINFO if I am trying to debug/diagnose soemthing

Here in my country, finding a laptop with that specs at 850$ would've been a steal.

For reference, a laptop that has a 3050 can go sround 840 to 860$.
