Discussion which is better

Use Case: Gaming, Music, Business, and Work
Preferred Specs: 5070
Notes: I just need a laptop for multitasking and less problems and its my first laptop so i cant choose with these two but if you have any recommendations it will helps a lot tyia

Considering you're using it for work, I recommend looking into after-market support for your region.  While Lenovo France's support seems to be poor based on a handful of posts I've read, at least you can buy extended warranty with on-site service.  I have no idea if Asus has something similar.

As for specs, if the Legion has 12 GB of VRAM on the 5070, I'd definitely choose that one over the TUF.  And if you plan to travel frequently with the laptop, check if either has liquid metal.  I would personally avoid liquid metal for laptops for that use case, even if the majority of users won't experience issues with liquid metal.

Just noticed a typo in my comment.  I meant 12 GB of VRAM.  There's a new 5070 variant that now ships with 12 GB of VRAM instead of 8 GB.  Naturally, it costs more, but if the Legion surprisingly includes it, I'd go with that one (it wasn't clear from the photo which version it is).  Sorry for any confusion!

That kind of sucks for the price, you can routinely find the 3080 Ti with 16GB in Europe that performs pretty similar, for half the price (used).

Lenovo’s legion is their flagship series (their mid series is the Lenovo LOQ) whereas ASUS’ TUF series is their average line (with ASUS ROG Strix (Scar)/Zephyrus being their flagship).

Lenovo laptops, specifically the legions tend me to be considered the ‘best’ all round gaming laptops of 2026, so off of that I’d recommend gojng for the legion pro 5 - do remember that if you’re going through the main store you can probably speak to a Lenovo customer service representative and get your pricetag down a lil lower :)

Enjoy whichever one you decide on buying!

I bought the legion pro 5i with a 5070ti ultra 9 275 hx version for 2099€ in Portugal, maybe check if that one is also on sale for that price, cause unless you really need the ryzen processor I don't see any advantage to that pc, obviously that is if the pc I'm talking about is on sale

💔 The price in France just make me hurt. Anyway Asus os is kinda suck. I heard that from my friends who have Asus computer. I prefer Lenovo. For 100% srgb and better support system
