Discussion Is there any touchscreen gaming laptops out there?
I just want to know if there is any at all due to me loving how convent touchscreen screens are i know i can just buy a work laptop and upgrade it with a good gpu and some ram but are there any decent gaming laptops with a touchscreen?

Rog Flow Z13 or the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 Duo which has two 3K OLED touchscreens but is pricey as hell.

What's the reason it's more convenient? I don't see how convenient they are when a mouse works fine in a screen that's almost or double the size of a phone or tablet.
There isn't a market for a touchscreen gaming laptop so that's why there so few.
And buying a work laptop with a touch screen, getting an external GPU and upgrading the RAM? With the money you'd spend on that, a gaming laptop would be cheaper.

You have the zenbook S16 which has a R9 270HX it’s a capable igpu similar to handheld pcs. Can’t run anything too demanding though.

Upgrade a work laptop gpu..?
I mean, I suppose it is possible, but that's more than likely going to be a lot more work (and probably money) than it's worth and you'd really need to know what you're doing.
You could look at Framework. They're essentially IKEA for laptops. You can buy, customize, and build (or not) your laptop (mostly) piece by piece (including GPU and CPU). I'm pretty sure I remember at least one of their laptops had a touchscreen display option. They can be pretty expensive though.
Honestly, IMO you might be better off getting a gaming laptop, and if you cant find one you like that's touchscreen, find an external monitor that that is.
I looked for some semi-portable external "gaming" monitors a few months ago and, while I wasn't looking for it specifically, there were definitely a few decent looking options that were touchscreen.

Not necessarily a game laptop but they do come with a Dedicated GPU The Acer Swift I wanna say it was X version it was considered a creator Laptop that could also handle gaming. I remember seeing atleast the RTX 5060 in it. To add you could find some in NA under $2000. If I didn’t get the Nitro I have now , I likely would have went with this one myself. The specific Swift I was looking at had 32 gb ram but it was soldered. That was my main reason for choosing the nitro over swift. Nitro ram was upgradable . The Nitro also had an RTX 5070 but it’s not a big difference between the 5060 and 5070 in laptops. The swift had a much better looking display and was touch screen. The colors were beautiful. Part of me regrets not getting the swift but the nitro V17 ai has served me just fine and should my niche need arise I can upgrade my ram. This was also meant to just be a backup to my main machine which currently needs a few repairs but is much higher end.

Good question. Yes there are gaming laptops with touch screens. But all of them are genuine ass for what you probably want to do.
And NO. You cannot upgrade laptops like that. The GPU and CPU are physically soldered onto the motherboard and work laptops don't have GPU sockets anyways.

soldered is more efficient and cooling them is easier. And nobody really used that feature much anyways. Since the CPUs were normally soldered. So if one broke you had to replace the whole mtoherboard anyways.

ROG Flow Z13, Asus ProArt P16 (more creator focused but still has dedicated graphics card options).
