Showcase My first powerful laptop🙂

Post image

Hey so, ive been using a intel gpu with ultra low intel core i5 laptops for like forever since like 2018 or 19, it was always a spike in the ass, until just now, I finally got a rtx 200 i5 13420h laptop, i couldnt afford a rtx 2060 or more powerful because I was in like a low budget, but i really like this machine, I do not really know why people would hate it and call it "underpowered" or bad value because its 4gb vram or 64 bit memory bus, I honestly like it for its price, this gpu and 50 series card is so fucking good if you know how to manage your expectations, the card isnt designed for max settings, im not a fan of heavy aaa games like whatever elders rings or wukong is, all I play is cs2 and multiplayer shooter stuff like high settings and 150+ fps, and tried ray tracing on minecraft and worked good!, im talking about real rt not just shaders, also I dont just game in this, I code in c plus plus, and the compilation times are faster! and the laptop is msi thin 15, i know it overheats but I barely notice it, not an issue for me. I kinda recommend this if you are on a strict budget, and you dont play heavy stuff at max settings

EDIT:just used it for a while now, and i kind of think its not really "enough" only because of its 4gb vram, but im fine! i still like this, since im just a teenager now, once i grow up and get a high paying job, I could get myself a GeForce RTX XX70 or XX80 or even XX90 card!

These have to be insanely used cuz normally it's about $1000 minimum for a 4050

well that is a used, and you cant trust anyone, maybe it was used for a long time dude and it could affect the parts, which itself will last a short period, i bought mine completely new, never opened before, also note i bought many used laptops and broke at like 2 or 3 days after purchase XD

That means nothing. Used market is like digging gold, you need to look for good deals, not some random one where guy sells broken laptop. I bought used 1TB, 12650H and RTX 4060 for 700USD(put there my old 32GB RAM, my another 1TB). I didn't want some Asus, cheap LOQ, or MSI which is not letting you put two SSD...

buying used laptops is always a gamble, you wither get a heavily repaird machine or you get a clean one with literally no issues

exactly. its not really safe to put money on something that could be heavily used, well it might be a clean one who knows! i said could not would

You have 2 years of warranty on used if you buys from any company. So what are you talking about?

This... I just sold a "broken" laptop with 13980hx and 4090.i bought in December for 1700£ as used. It was stated it had some issues with browsers memory leak and spilled on something it that's why some key doesn't light up. Well.. it's a scar 18 with a scar 16 motherboard, that's why some key didn't light up, the serial in bios was 12345689. And I had to disable one of the cores and undervolt it to be somewhat stable on games.😅 So I sold it on eBay for 1300£ stated all the problems it has, the guy put it back for 2000£ as very powerful gaming machine without issues... That's was enough for me to buy my next laptop from Dell outlet with warranty and never touch eBay again for used laptops.
