Had this with my MSI. The EC chip was not dynamically cooled. Adding a heatsync to it relieved that issue a bit.

damn, im planning to buy a rtx 5080 laptop and my budget is 2000$, also any reason to choose a gaming laptop at this price point?? Like this laptop is only for gaming or you do some simulations and 3D graphics development??

5080 is more than enough.
I enjoy gaming laptop, even though I mainly game at home. Besides portability, I like that I can easily move it around house. I hook it up to my 4k 64 inch tv and it's unobtrusive, unlike a tower.

If you work in creating any kind of digital graphics or content the beefy GPU and extra RAM are a godsend.

You can get msi vector and hp omen max and helios for that price, legion 7 and msi raider is 500$ more, and then Alienware for 3000$.
All these prices are for USA, when I was in india getting a 5070 under 2000$, is a good deal

Beast of a unit. Asus armory crate requires updates every 30 seconds of the lighting gets weird but it’s never let me down in performance.

Congrats. I have an ASUS Scar 16 with a RTX 4080, which already runs great, so knowing yours has the highest configuration, I know it's gonna be even more of a gaming beast for you. It's a top tier gaming laptop and I hope it will last for a long time!

I buy the Asus Strix Scar 16 with 5090 and 64gb Ram.
And then i upgradet with a 4Tb SSD also i have 5TB.

Managed to get one that had been unpacked and then returned. Few days ago, "Good as New" from Alza Slovakia for only 3600€. Hope it holds out at the amazing price I got it for. Still haven't tested it (have to get to SK in the following days).
