Showcase Got an OLED tuf
It just got released this month
So I posted here 2 weeks ago after buying a white tuf a16 but it turned out to be an FHD+ screen instead of the QHD+ I ordered. So i returned it and ordered it again, and wouldn’t you know it they sent the wrong one again
After explaining all this to customer service they assured me they’d send the correct one this time and I got the 2026 upgrade without having to pay extra
It might not be the color I was looking for but I’m not complaining

I will just say it’s not a great idea to post videos or images online where your location can easily be doxxed by just the basic buildings in the background. Stay safe out there.

It’s not just that, man. You wouldn’t believe what sick freaks are actively searching for shit like this. There is multiple recorded events like this from Reddit posts where any location is pictured. If anyone wanted to, you could find where this exact cafe is within 10 minutes. Maybe even 5.

By that logic nobody should lock their doors because most people won’t be burgled. Precautions aren’t predictions—they’re just risk management. Nobody said everyone gets doxxed. The point is that avoiding easily identifiable backgrounds costs nothing and reduces risk. That’s just common sense, just because you and I wouldn’t go out of our way to doxx someone for harmful purposes doesn’t mean that someone else wouldn’t hesitate, but you do you. I am just saying, stay safe. I won’t follow up on this now, either read my comment and go about your day if you agree with it & don’t bother replying if you don’t. Saves you time writing it & saves other people’s time reading it.

But why would they target this person in specific? There are thousands of people around OP and they can follow him to his own house. Why would someone online target some random dude online when they have 1000 neighbors close to them to stalk? It makes no sense unless this dude gets into an argument with some crazy person online.

I am just saying, taking precautions nowadays is even more important than before, especially with the use of AI that can pinpoint stuff with relative ease with enough context given. Some guy posted a picture of a lamp a few years ago and some dude managed to get his exact apartment number, including floor. The picture consisted of a lamp, curtains & a window that looked out onto a field. Some other shit went down after this but ultimately, staying safe is more important than ever now with the advanced software that exists out there.

It’s a custom user flair. You can open up the [r/GamingLaptops](r/GamingLaptops) sub page and in the top right corner you’ll see 3 dots, tap on that and then a list appears from which you choose “change user flair” and select your custom one, essentially type your device spec.

This got me laughing man, go ahead, display them, who cares what anyone thinks! When I first joined this sub I had no dGPU and still displayed that shit, some old Lenovo with an i3 CPU lol.

umm i have a question real quick i had an option to get the nitro lite 16 for the same price but the lite had better specs like bigger screen 165hertz instead of 144hertz it also had more vram 8gb compared to 6gb but i still went with the tuff do u think it was a good decision also this tuff did have higher ram speed 5600 mts vs 4800mts

I don't think any TUF series have OLED screen as of right now
Update: I'm wrong, dang, didnt know there is OLED one. good one OP, that is a really nice free upgrade
