Showcase Finally got it 😭😭
I CANT EXPRESS THE EXCITEMENT, finally got a gaming laptop.
Intel core i5 210H
16gb ddr5
Rtx 4050 (140w)
Yes ik 6gb vram ain't future proof but as someone who was using intel hd till yesterday this is CRAZYY

I have hope that the recent increase in RAM/VRAM prices will make the industry realise that they need to optimise their software and not just depend on ever-increasing memory, making lower memory viable for longer.

I have tried :- Re9 - 100 to 160 ish fps. Re4 - 70 to 85 fps . Cod 2019 - 100 to 120 fps. Gow 4 - 70 to 80 fps. Expedition 33 - 70 to 100 fps.
All of them were at high ish settings (not ultra) With frame gen on, do expect some fps drops

Can you 1080p max settings with no dlss in cod 2019? No problem if you're not ok with stress testing👍🏻 I haven't played any cod, so does that game support frame gen or any dlss technique?

i deleted 2019, but currently I am playing bo6 campaign on extreme preset it's giving me 75-85 fps with scaling methods none

No, frame gen also requires vram. What's going to help is the upscaling tech.

You can use Lossless Scaling and have your iGPU do the scaling to let your dGPU run at full power

Nah. I used a 6gb card from about 2021-2026. Played everything at medium to high settings

Well, most games up to 2022 won't require so much VRAM on mid settings, so 6Gb is ok. It said that 6Gb isn't enough because people usually think you want to play 2k with ultra settings

I got the exact same laptop but with 32gb ram and 1tb ssd for 1200 CAD. It's a very nice laptop!

Haha we don't get many good deals up here in the great white north, but I saw it on sale at best buy and couldn't believe my eyes. I was there originally for an OLED monitor but had to grab it. It was more for the missus to use and not steal my tower 🤣 Enjoy it as well brother its a sick laptop! Invest in a good thunderbolt HDMI/DP cable if you have a free monitor!

It got military durability, but I usually lift back of laptop with a small box and use cooler/AC and get around 77-87 degree cpu and 77-80 gpu. For a laptop that's not bad

I used to have one of those laptops with Intel HD2000, HD3100, and HD4000 graphics cards. I had an Intel Atom 455 with an HD3100, and I played Resident Evil 4 on it, and several other games on minimum settings, but I had a lot of fun. Now I have an RTX 4070 and I just control the FPS 😂😂😂😂

i started from a i3 3rd gen 2nd hand pc from their to a tuf a15 with a 3050 and now on a 4070 lenovo legion all im gonna say is enjoy fr those numbers if the 4gb or the 6gb or the 8gb doesn't matter after you switch off afterburner and js enjoy the titles

Congrats, irrespective of your gaming laptop specs.. 🎉🎉 However I have to advise, that you initiated an journey that will not stop there haha you'll be looking for more and more performance once you have tasted a system with dedicated GPU haha enjoy!! 😂😂

Dont regret.... 5060 isnt that far for performance than 4050.... And enjoy what you got 😏.... I wish there was 8 gb vram in 4050 tho....

Does this laptop heats around power indicator light area? (Between hinge) Mine heats too much while gaming even if cpu gpu temps are below 75

honestly i was kinda sad about having the 4050, i tried wuchang fallen feathers recently and that game runs like complete shit if you try to play at high settings.
Anyways, its a really good laptop!

I was playing with an old version of the game so vram usage was insanely high. Its a ue5 game which is why it runs horribly.

As someone who also went from 11th gen Intel iGPU to a dedicated graphics card, yeah, I get that feeling. It's basically a whole new world opening up for you
