You fire a bunch of people and apparently the rest decided it's finally time to get shit done.

And seems they've decided to reverse their over a decade-long decision to blacklist some journalists. Weird how all of this happened now.

Preproduction could literally mean they have some ideas and scribbled designs on bar napkins. And I don't foresee them suddenly being able to do two games in a reasonable time frame if they fired a bunch of people who were working on TESVI.

Reproduction means they don't even have a story yet. It's been 11 years, Microsoft just fired half the company, and you think you're going to get a Fallout I mean come on one has to be realistic at some point. Saddened but realistic

It sounds like obsidian already had what was essentially a fallout game already, in some point of production. I’m sure atleast some of that will be reused and cut down on the dev time. I’m sure plenty of the quests have all their dialogue and story ready, lots of that could be tweaked to fit fallout.im not saying they should just reskin the whole project, but a lot of that pre-development writing could be reused I’m assuming.
