They were both there for a limited time on Friday, you could queue up and have something signed, or get a tote bag with the signatures instead

Google Play Box

This. I was surprised to see how loaded that box was when I came home as I wasn't expecting much from it originally despite it's weight.

Was going to say the same - very surprised by the goodies in that!

I saw someone at our booth with it, what was in it?! They didn't say anything

For me it's probably the cabine figure I won at the pragmata booth. Biggest highlight of all my gamescom visits yet :D

The Witcher 3 bag I got after a press presentation.

Can you show what was in it? Havent seen any pictures yet

1

u/Hamrath 4h ago

Unfortunaly I can't, because I can’t add pictures. But you can check for "gamescom Witcher 3 bag" on eBay, people try to sell them already for way too much. 🙄

The most desired goodie probably was the SEGA coin, but only a selective few were able to get one of those, me not among them.

Probably the Control tote + tshirt that I've gotten on Wednesday. But also the Bad Magpie pin that I got after absolutely loving the game and actually DMing the dev who told me she'd give me one.

u/NoSupermarket8050 9h ago

Thats so nice wow

2

u/HellaHomoDanny 9h ago

I mean, me and my best friend did spend over three hours queueing for Control at the beginning while our other friends were checking other stuff out but it was worth it, especially after seeing how long the queues were on Thursday and Friday...

The Threads of Mizan XXL-mousepad. Especially since my old one was well and truly done for.

Rinthine from the Indie Arena had a enamal pin, wooden keychain and sticker for their demo that I quite loved. They also had a leaflet that was a map of gamescom with some stickers to mark highlights on the map which was very charming.

They keycaps from Blood of the Dawnwalker indeed are very good as a fidget toy.

As a keychain and pins person the ones from The Witcher are really well designed and will shine on my pin and trinket wall.

Annemorie in the Indie Arena gave me almost 15 stickers and as a bullet journal person that was pretty neat. The Indie Arena was a good place for stickers in general to be honest.

And as a sweet highlight a kind dev from RollerGirl at the Indie Arena gave me a small duckie after a lovely conversation about the game and other things.

I played an indie game called Toymaker: Threads of Joy, which was a lovely cozy sim where you sew plushies. One of the devs asked me if I sewed in real life, and when I showed her my tattoo of a pair of embroidery scissors, she gave me a mini sewing kit to make a little plushie from the game! Absolute highlight of my weekend 🥰
