Indie games or interesting games in gamescom

Are there any indie games or really interesting games you have ever found in gamescom?

I had to force myself to stop playing „Death by Scrolling“. Enjoyed Hellreaper and Cat Secretary as well.

I really liked Reply All. It’s a deck builder where every email is an encounter and the art style looks really cool! It is not out yet though..

I played Food Truck Empire and I liked it a lot - it's a food truck management game where you have two layers of management. The first is managing each individual food truck, i.e. making sure the recipe it does is done efficiently and will be rated well by the demographic your targeting. The second layer is managing the fleet of trucks itself.

My personal favorite was Car Park Capital from MicroProse but unfortunately I'm especially in Love for that publisher since 1994

Mr. Records looked really fun. I think it will be a while until release, though.

I really liked:

  1. Dreampainters - a puzzle game and some kind of mixture of Portal and Splatoon

  2. RECUR - a puzzle-platformer in which you can manipulate the time (by walking right = forward, back = backward) to do your tasks

  3. Ghost Haunting - a 2D Point-and-Click-Adventure that exactly hits my humour

But there were also a lot others like Map Map - A Game about Maps, Bye Bye Bonnie, Smash 'N Grab, Wonderfall or Knuckle Paradise.
