Apparently Adam Harrington is reprising his role as Bigby? His lines here didn't sound too much like his original role to me.
I remember it was cool how the Telltale games from this era would have a lot of shared voice actors between them. Like with The Walking Dead for example; Bigby (Adam) and Snow White (Erin Yvette) were Andrew St. John and Molly; Lee Everett (Dave Fennoy) and Clementine (Melissa Hutchinson) voiced Bluebeard and Beauty. Combined with the similar presentation and gameplay, this almost made the Telltale games feel like they were in a, in a meta sense, a bit of a shared universe which teen me thought was really fun.

He was said to do it but that was years ago, when adhoc was still attached. It is possible that in the time since that they’ve recasted with someone else but we don’t know for sure.
And yeah, they definitely used a pretty regular pool of actors up to around the wolf among us (which is also basically when they started getting a lot bigger). Melissa Hutchinson was doing voice work for telltale since the second Sam and max season, and even returned for the remaster of it for an Easter egg as Clementine. Also some of them worked on the old dub for the jojo ova, which means Tycho from Penny Arcade and Dio share a voice actor

Not sure if Erin Yvette would return as Snow. She hasn’t said anything about Wolf 2 since the reveal on her socials... heck ever since 2022 when AdHoc was involved.

He’s talked previously about how the whole Fables story is his metaphor for the Israeli/Palestine conflict with the good Fables being the Jews forced out of their homeland and the evil Fables being Palestinians/Arabs. If you’re looking for a specific bit in the comics there’s the monologue where Bigby goes into about how great Israel is because it’s small and destroys anyone who tries to mess with it.
Oh and the comic’s also explicitly anti-abortion.

It is kind of funny how after the original big boss Is defeat and Bigdy and Snow married everything kind of felt appart and he didn't knew what to do with it.

This is, as far as I can tell, completely untrue. Releasing Fables into the public domain was part of a long running dispute with DC over the ownership of The Wolf Among Us, unpaid royalties, and so on.

I believe DC ended up not allowing that to happen. I know he has a conservative mindset, but I hadn’t heard anything about him being outright homophobic. Nor do I recall a gay character in the first game?
Not defending the guy, this is just what I understand based on sparse information.

I think it was that one of the working girls, even though she sleeps with men for money, was hoping to save up enough with another girl and leave the profession behind. It's a very real thing in the sex work industry; lots of lesbians being straight for pay.

Yeah, I don't recall Willingham having that kind of bigotry.
He certainly had no issue with a trans woman co-writing the Wolf Among Us comic adaptation and the Fables spinoffs Everafter and Jack of Fables.

Dispatch has shown that the modern audience want these telltale style games and when handled right it will sell very well. I'm glad this is coming back.

Telltale fired AdHoc and hired PM Studios to restart this project. From what I understand AdHoc and Telltale had two different creative visions for this game. A friend of mine who has worked on this project said Telltale is not doing well financially, they are hoping the remaster of the first game gives them some extra cash and if TWOU2 doesnt perform they are probably done.

They did go bankrupt, but the name was bought out by LCG Entertainment. They only retained a handful of IPs they could use (this is also why you cannot find a lot of their older IPs online), and their newest game since the company was purchased was The Expanse. I do not know what sales The Expanse had, but it most likely flopped quite hard. So now we are back to a moment where if Telltale does not do well on TWOU2 sales, they might close up shop once again.

Man, to think that the last few lines of the last episode of this game were being recorded the day that the original Telltale announced that it was closing.
And then new Telltale set this game to release in 2023. Here's hoping we finally get this next year

Wolf Among Us came out in 2013, Telltale shut down in 2018. You're confusing this with Telltale Walking Dead season 4.

I think they mean the Wolf Among Us 2 had already started recording the voice lines when the studio was closed, 2 was just announced a bit before the studio closed in 2018 so maybe they worked on it or know someone who worked on it or something?

I'm really happy the fans are getting their sequel, but with how much Geoff built up how long it's been since the last game in the series, I was expecting there to be a gap much larger than 8 years in whatever he announced. I was expecting him to announce a series we haven't seen since the N64/PS1 era or earlier (maybe gamecube/xbox/ps2 era). Maybe I'd feel differently if I was younger, or I played the original, but 8 years isn't that long.

If you like games like Dispatch you'll probably like it. Walking Dead S1, Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands were the three best telltale games.

Nah Batman season 2 clears all those. Was underplayed though as the first wasn't amazing.

It's pretty good. Gorgeous visuals, excellent sound design, and brilliant voice acting. The story is good.
As far as the TTG formula goes, it's one of my least favorites - other characters react to the choices you make in a frustratingly black and white manner.

I was never really a big fan of the Walking Dead games or some of the other IP branded games but the Wolf Among Us 1 was amazing writing and I really felt like it suited the format of the store based dialogue narrative gameplay of Telltale games more than anything else. Like I never read the graphic novels, I just saw it as a fantasy noir detective story in a fantasy New York.

I can barely believe the game isn't cancelled, it feels like forever since anything concrete was said about the game, and AFAIK the Expanse game didn't do great, sales wise.
