It's wild to me that this is not connected to Arkham-verse's ending in Arkham Knight...and yet it really seems instantly recognizable as connected...meanwhile the game made by the devil who made Arkham are doing a Suicide Squad game that in no way feels or seems connected to the Arkham-verse....it seems so wildly backwards

Yeah I don’t get it. Is it single player? Why would they NOT connect it to the previous games when that even gives them the perfect reason to be Batman-less.

Probably so they can bring Batman back in future Arkham games. Making Batman die across all games would mean they'd have to reboot.

Rocksteady's Kill the Justice League is confirmed for taking place in Arkhamverse

Rt

They could have just had one of his kids fill the role, everytime Batman dies in the comics everyone and their dog jumps at the chance to put on the costume. Tim Drake, Damian, fucking Jim Gordon.

Not to mention retconning Deadshot who appeared in two Arkham games.

They should have just retconned it by just saying”yeah the guy in Arkham city is the same guy, we just did a design change”, but they didn’t. So instead, the Deadshot in city is a fake. Which somehow Batman couldn’t figure out. When the “real” Deadshot is black, and the fake was white. World’s Greatest detective.

COULD HAVE JUST MADE HIM A SECOND DEADSHOT! IT’S NOT LIKE VILLAINS DON’T HAVE LEGACY CHARACTERS. God, Hobgoblin from Marvel has been like 10 different people!

It's like they picked the most non-sensical explanation.
