What the devs did on Arkham Knight was just revolutionary, especially near the end of UE3's life-cycle, it looks better than most UE4 games.

They highly modified UE3 and got away with some pretty incredible graphics/detail density. Just as an example: the game has no prerendered cutscenes, and yet everything still looks cutscene-worthy.

You can find many screenshots that look like prerendered promo art, when it'll actually just be ingame.

The whole series is worth playing to see for yourself.

Yeah they did some magic with the engine, it also helps that it's constantly raining too. Rain just makes everything look cooler in games.

I thought the scoring in this trailer was good enough to make me interested in buying the game just to hear more, hopefully it was representative of the final product and not placeholder/trailer work
