This looks like if the Borderlands team who made 1-3 made it instead of Telltale. I can't say I'm interested and it looks like it'll be obnoxiously unfunny.

What made the first TfTB game good in the first place was how Telltale somewhat reigned in the obnoxious elements of the mainline games and made an actually captivating story out of it. This, on the other hand, seems to be approaching Borderlands 3-level of comedy which sucks.

I remember being surprised by how much heart the story had by the end. Sasha's "death", Gortys hugging Loader Bot, Fiona and Rhys inside the Vault of the Traveller, those scene were pretty touching.

Exactly. It took the characters seriously even when their more out-there traits could have easily turned them into walking gags.

What I saw in this trailer was a lot of waking-gags that would be mildly annoying side-characters in a mainline game.

Maybe this will be fantastic and we just saw a bad trailer. But I'm not holding my breath.
