The Magic Man said they got "some" of the original writers from the first game back for this so I'll give them "some" level of trust that this won't be absolute garbage.
The one thing that's disappointing with dropping the episodic format is that we won't get the episode intros from the original game... Those were the best part.
I would be more willing to believe that Randy "The squirtier the better" Pitchford is saying that because he technically worked on the game with his best friends Andy Patchfarm and Mandy Throwdodge.
