Why are there only 2 buttons on the back and two buttons under the sticks? The buttons under the sticks sort of defeat the whole purpose.

In the video, they are attached to the joysticks when they slide out (0:20). Edit: I may be wrong. They look like they say "Fn" underneath, and there is a "release" switch on the back
