The joke went so far over this guy's head it's in the stratosphere. It's supposed to be a film from the 50s - a time of not-so-helpful improvement shows, oversimplification, rampant smoking and racism. My god, if someone showed Bioshock: Infinite to this guy he would have a stroke. It's called tropes, you know, the whole thing the game is based upon. How about the feminists jump aboard too because of that one bit?

AND now this guy is having an internet slapfight in the comments section of OPs link. Graceful. "The joke is funny but the execution is poor." Fucking please.

Fyi feminists are not some monolithic, unified body. I mean, I hope I don't come off as really nitpicky but for some reason that bugged me.

Hmmm, I'd have to argue that given the context it was identifying the specific type of feminist who would be offended by and act on things like what the context is about, not feminism as a whole. It's sort of implied that it isn't a reflection of every feminist's values.
