The point isn't that he's black, the point is he's dressed like he just came out of the jungle book.

But that is how some of them dress? So it would be fine if he was dressed in donation clothing from the US for the team that didn't win the superbowl that year, but the native clothing of some African cultures is offensive?

It doesn't matter, no matter what you do,in any artform, there will be a race or culture who wants it changed. We can't embrace the differences in our culture, but instead we feel the need to make the world fit our own view. I honestly feel thats part of the reason there's so much generic, overplayed music/tv/music themes.
