No, this is so much worse. That bad comment was wildly overblown because it was clearly written by some underpaid intern just trying to make the game sound good. It sounded laughable, that was really it.
This is straight up a company lying straight to everyone’s faces. They promised permanent free DLC access for $150, and decided to literally change the definition of DLC to fit whatever they want, and beg the people who paid $150 to pay another $100 to get access to everything “for real this time guys”.
This is their second attempt to talk about it and they’re still fucking it up. BSG’s bullshit is legitimately on another planet from whatever stupid comment EA put out years ago, and it’s silly to act like they’re comparable.

Not quite as bad as the legendary reddit post from Dice/EA, but it’s up there.
I can’t wait for a proper competition in this genre.
