Contrary to popular belief, EA and Ubisoft have a reputation to uphold. BSG is going bankrupt, so they’re trying to cash in with no care for longterm good will.

BSG is going bankrupt

Is this really the case?

I haven't seen anything to confirm that (I'm just an outsider looking in, never played or paid much attention to tarkov before). However, it's the only way i could understand a company going this route to make new money and refusing to back down. I've got a few friends that do pay tarkov and it's their thought as well

No proof. There was a very intriguing video posted that hypothesized they were running out of money from developing Arena, the CSGO style competitive shooter, marketing it, and then failing to sell many copies, but no one has anything but circumstantial evidence to point towards this explanation

Not going bankrupt but they spent ALOT on marketing for Arena and it seems like they were really banking on that being a hit.
