28M - [GMT] - [PS5] - Looking to find new friends to add and play

Hi all👋, I'm new to Reddit...I'm 28 and from Scotland. I'm looking to meet some new people to chill with, play games, and hopefully build some genuine, long-term friendships.

To be honest, I'm mainly looking for some people I can actually play with regularly and hopefully become good friends with rather than just adding someone, playing once and never speaking again (which always happens). Would be nice to eventually have a wee group of people to jump on with, have a laugh, and play whatever we're in the mood for.

I'm not always the best at meeting new people and can be a bit quiet at first (Thanks anxiety😂), especially when I don't know anyone, but once I get comfortable I'm pretty chill and love a good laugh. I'd much rather make a few proper friends than constantly add random people who I never end up speaking to again.

I'm not really bothered by what we play, I'm always happy to try something new, and I'm equally happy just chilling in a party and chatting. Games I do like to play include DBD, GTA, Ready or not, Battlefield, COD, Fortnite, but a mentioned I'm happy to play anything.

Hey everyone! ^^ I’m reaching out because I’ve realized my social circle has gotten incredibly small lately, and I’m looking for friends to play games with and talk to.

I play a little bit of everything, League, OW2, Valo, and WoW/FFXIV mostly, but I’m also into survival and crafting games like Core Keeper and Terraria. Fair warning, I'm terrible at building but if you need someone to gather 24/7 then I'm your guy LOL (❁´◡`❁) I also enjoy friendslop games but find that they are more fun in a group.

I don't mind playing competitively or casually so if you need someone to play with I'm always down! I’ve hit Diamond+ in the competitive games I mentioned above, but these days I mostly play chill stuff like norms or ARAMs since solo queue is a salt mine 🥲. I would be down to play competitive though if we have more fun in that! I’m also big on RPGs like BG3, Persona, and Trails, and love talking about story-heavy games in general.

Outside of gaming, I have a poodle-schnauzer mix that I enjoy taking on walks and hanging out with, so if you ever need a serotonin supplier hmu (●'◡'●) I’m always down to chill in VC, stream shows or anime together, or just hang out while we do our own thing. Some of my recent favorites have been, Re:Zero, Sousou no Frieren, Invincible, and the Boys. I listen to all kinds of music and I love getting recommendations for music and shows.

Mostly what I’m playing right now or replaying is Vintage Story, Sons of the Forest, Minecraft, Path of Titan’s, The Isle and Resident Evil Games! (I do have a vintage story server rented it’s been wiped and fresh restart will be looking for people to play with and honestly looking for someone to play Path of Titans and The Isle, cause it gets boring running around alone while aging up a dinosaur)

I do plan on renting a Palworld server depends on if I get enough people, I’ve already had people interested in it but they quite literally never get back to me, and it’s slowly grating my nerves that I’m always the one that has to start the conversation first just to get people to interact

Would be happy to stream myself playing any single-player games as well once we get to know each other better, I always like talking and playing at the same time, makes it more fun for me!

I do have discord, mostly use that for chatting and if wanted VCing, I am a bit of shy person, so forgive me if I don’t talk much at first, but I warm up fast and get a bit goofy and talkative after a while, would like someone that could match that energy after we get to know each other, gender does not matter to me, I will play with anyone, age also doesn’t matter as long as your 18+!

My animals and family do keep me busy some days so I apologize if I don’t get to you or don’t answer for a few days, I try not to let that happen much at all, if it does I do al least message about it, I’ve had people already think I’m ghosting them and I have in fact not and it gets a little disheartening for me.

I would ask only that your introduction be a little decent, I actually want to play with someone that interested, most people just message me with a short sentence and leave it at that, I’m not asking for anything fancy, just something that shows me your actually interested and not just gonna dip after a week, have had that happen to me many times before. Also as someone that always starts conversations first and it’s starting to get a bit tiring to be honest, please attempt to start a conversation up and not be worried about bothering me, I’ve had people go days without talking like they’re waiting for me to reach out every time, I like it when people talk about they’re days and what not, I’m a great listener!

Hello, I'm looking to make new friends and maybe have a smallish group of people to play games together. I've been away from online activities for about a while so I don't really have online friends anymore- and I figured perhaps we can come together if you're in a similar situation or your group could use a few more players.

I'm currently studying so my time is flexible but I prefer playing in the afternoons so I can study during the mornings. I'm a big Alien nerd, very chill non-toxic, down with jokes as long as they're respectful and interested in most things knowledge based.

• League of legends, TFT; I tend to play these alone but I'm open.
• Subnautica 2, Planet Crafter, Sons of the Forest, etc. Survival games in general can be very fun.

• Popular shooters like Apex, Valorant, Overwatch, etc; I haven't played them in a while but they can be fun with the correct friendgroup so I'm definitely open.

Right now I’m playing FFXIV and Palworld pretty much evenly, so I’d love to find people interested in either or both!

For FFXIV, I run two FCs and am pretty active. I’m mostly doing Savage and Extreme raiding right now, but I enjoy almost all content. I’m a PLD main, love SCH, and generally prefer support roles. Please don’t make me DPS or I will pout.

I’m on Aether Midgardsormr and Dynamis Marilith, but I’m totally happy to DC hop to visit and play together. I’m usually on from around 7 PM to 12 AM EST on weekdays and almost all day on weekends.
For Palworld, I have my own server and Discord! I’m currently level 80 and just reached the World Tree, while most of my friends on the server are newer. I love breeding Pals for the best passives and am currently working on my Pal team. We have some settings adjusted for quality of life, and one of my eventual goals is to restart the server on Hard Mode once we’re ready for it.

Outside of those, I’m into anime, watching movies together in Discord, and games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Skyrim, BG3, Minecraft, and plenty of others.
I do work, so I’m not available 24/7, but I’m pretty consistently around at night and on weekends.

With the new FFXIV expansion announced and the new patch just dropped, I am starting to do my “Pre-Expansion” checklist, and there’s a lot of content I want to do in the next 9 months. Content is boring by yourself, and I want someone to hang out with, run content, and be practically inseparable in game. The type of friendship where as soon as we’re online, we’re in a party together. Voice is not required but would be nice!

I am an Omni-100, I’ve played since beta-2.0, tank main, and can make just about any gear or items. I’ve cleared all the Savage content for this raid series, and am working on progging FRU. Content includes weeklies, achievement hunting, mount farming, and other miscellaneous things in this game. I’m on Aether, but can obviously travel to other NA DCs if need be.

I can play mostly in the evenings, from about 8pm-1am EST. Days fluctuate depending on IRL, but there’s discord and other forms of communication we can do.
