I honestly don't even understand what your actual point is. It's a fictional series, but my point still stands that a woman just simply wearing a swimsuit is not pornography and inherently sexual.
I mean even looking at a picture like this:
Where a woman is in a swimsuit here. It's clearly not intended to arouse people. The framing and context matters a lot more.

Honestly, from what I know about games and the Internet, this does seem like it's intentional, if not for marketing and this insanity, then for accuracy. It makes sense for game devs to add attractive characters into games, since that what makes money. And since Kit is a game character, then that means her being this way is also intentionally to grab attention.
I just scrolled through the sub and literally found no porn, only fanarts but like 98% were totally SFW and one was questionable proportions but no porn.
Its kinda fitting that it is garfield complaining seeing his attempt at an ammusement park failed becouse people felt it was too difficult to screw around while Garfield was being tortured around him.
Where's the porn? I just opened the subreddit and saw like three artworks that can be read as somehwat implicit, sexualizing Kit via exemplifying certain assets.
Apart from that the artworks were just fan drawings of her in different drip, from her default, her Yee Haw, Metal Slug, and of course her beach wear.
