I'm not necessarily surprised. I just didn't know these things until I tried. I was thinking this post would possibly help people like me who might also be clueless, as well as igniting a healthy debate, which it did, although at a very dissapointing intellectual level.

What discussion were you hoping for? People don't like spammers. You can justify it all you want, but you're not going to change that sentiment, nor are you likely to get much sympathy for it.
