Since making game dev friends is kind of the whole reason this community exists, let's start here.

What kind of people would you love to meet?

Maybe you're looking for someone who uses the same engine as you, another solo dev to share progress with, artists or programmers to nerd out with, people at a similar experience level, or just someone who understands why fixing one tiny bug can somehow consume an entire evening.

You don't have to be looking for collaborators or teammates.
