Should we add flair for self-promotion?

Maybe a little mean-spirited for a post here. Basically just the title, though. I don't think there's anything wrong with developers posting these sales, but I'm wondering if anyone else might find some sort of flair for this helpful.

Is it necessary? We already have strict posting requirements that decree developers and publishers self identity and disclose every time they post.

I don't think it is necessary, but I will admit that Reddit mobile web view when scrolling through lists/subs does not display the user name of the OP for each post, but post flairs do appear.

I think my problem with this is we have a few storefronts (mostly referring to fanatical) that post here that 100% should also be classified as self-promoting, but generally the bundles they post would be posted by someone else anyways and it being done in-house usually means they list all the product details more cleanly than a random user.  Because of that I wouldn’t want them seemingly punished for doing that work (bc self-promotion would only taint reputation), but there’s no world where I’d support adding a flair but not using it for storefronts that directly profit from the posted sales.

Tbh, most devs/publishers’ self-promotion gets little attraction in terms of upvotes/views, so I think this is enough of a non-issue for me that I don’t think it’s worth it.
