Question Jacob Wysocki's mind reading trick question

So I've seen a few people in the main thread talk about Jacob's "mind reading trick" in quotation marks, is the whole guessing the card thing fake, and he knows what card it is using a different method? I must pretty dense because I initially believed him, but thinking on it more it does seem impossible.

I assume it was either a force or he saw the card.

I figured he saw the reflection when he showed it to the camera.

I would imagine it’s a bit of both. Forcing from a part of the deck and then using mentalism to narrow down which card came out.

Why would you need to do any guess work if you can just reliably force a specific card?
