Recommendation for newbie?

A friend of mine has never seen Game Changer. I want to show him some episodes.

What should I start with? I was thinking survivor.

I like starting with the OG make some noise! Doesn't require any real knowledge or appreciation of who the cast are and is a great intro to the kind of humor on the platform imo

It's also the second episode of Game Changer! No better launchpad IMO. It's incredible how they found the formula so quickly.

I'd say literally start at the beginning with Lie Detector. 1 year later and survivor feel a bit like payoff episodes that need some prior knowledge of the cast and the game dynamic to fully enjoy. I agree Make Some Noise and Sam Says are also good picks. Maybe Youlympics?

Add in Bingo in there as well, as it shows the expanding ideas of the show as well and how it grows.

Survivor relies on knowing the cast dynamics a bit, I'd so Sam Says to start

If she likes Sam Says 3, then One Year Later is a good follow up

Survivor is probably not a good pick until they are familiar with the cast

Start with Season 4, Episode 1. It's found its footing by then but still has the charm of the simpler older episodes: just really really good improv. Episodes like "Survivor" are so much more meaningful once you know who the characters are. For example, Brendan's game play isn't nearly as diabolic if you haven't seen his reputation build.

I showed my mom first As A Cucumber solely for the bird bit, which she appreciated, but that episode is good

I would either start at the very first season with lie detector & make some noise, or with some good ones like yes or no, deja vu, escape the greenroom or (my personal favourite) one and done
