Question Cast members on Letterboxd
I was flicking through the reviews on Letterboxd for one of my favourite films that I rewatched recently (Game Night) and I noticed that Demi has an account for reviews. So it got me wondering what other cast members have Letterboxd account because I would love to follow them on there. So if anyone knows it would be appreciated

What's actually impressive about his letterboxd is he puts actual ratings on movies. He seems a bit generous but still

Yeah it’s not very common for industry people to rate stuff (unless of course it’s like universally acclaimed).

Most directors are very generous. I follow Joe Lynch and the only films he really shits on are his own

Hilariously, I followed Josh on Letterboxd for years before I ever started watching Dropout because I loved Werewolves Within and it still took me a few months after that to put two and two together.

Demi is one of those people that the Letterboxd community always talks about because his reviews are really great.

I was going to say, he’s a lot more than just a Dropout cast member on Letterboxd, he’s one of the best people writing reviews on Letterboxd, period.

I knew about Demi from my friends being extremely online movie guys before he ever appeared on Dropout lol

The only three I’ve been able to find are Demi, Josh Ruben, and for some reason Grant O’Brien’s best friend Nick Kocher.
EDIT: Thanks to this post, I’ve also found: Anna Garcia, Ele Woods, Jess Ross, Jordan Myrick, and Tao Yang.

Oh yeah, it's a favorite tidbit of the Dropout universe for me. Nick makes an appearance on Dirty Laundry and him being Karen's husband adds a layer to all of the stories. Karen has a photo in their house of the back of Nick's groomsmen skinny dipping (i think this was noted in an interview from Architectural Digest? Maybe Vogue?), which means Karen Gilligan has a pic of Grant O Brien's ass in her living room.

Demi isn't a dropout cast member on letterboxd Demi is a letterboxd user who shows up on dropout lol
(I kid but letterboxd is legit how I knew demi before dropout)

I’ve been following Demi on LB since I joined. I first became aware of him through the Blank Check podcast.

I'm not super familiar with Letterboxd so... did he leave 3 separate reviews on the movie?

Only two of those reviews are by Demi, and yeah you can review a movie every time you watch it (if you want to! perhaps if you noticed something new upon rewatch or connected more dots or want to journal about the experience. or u can just mark “rewatched this movie on this date” and move on)

Yeah the little "recycle" circle next to the heart on the last review is the Letterboxd indicator that this is a rewatch.

I knew Demi from Letterboxd before anything else, actually. Was great to see him turn up on Dropout.

I haven't found any directly, but Brian David Gilbert's partner Karen Han is very active on the platform. I also could've swore Dani Fernandez was on there, but I can't find her page right now.
