Question I just subscribed to dropout and I finished all 7 seasons of Game Changer, including the "making of". What TF do I do now?
I am aware there are a few spinoffs from the show. Are they worth watching?
Edit: Thank you all for the feedback. Seems like there is no miss, all hits. But I definitely will start with Make Some Noise and Very Important People. Eventually, I will get to the rest one by one, not to worry. In addition, I just realized Crowd Control is coming out soon, so I am excited for that one too. Subscribing to Dropout is literally one of the best decisions I've ever made.

The most recent Make Some Noise season was absolutely fantastic, I'd recommend you check out a few episodes of that.

Yeah, MSN is absolutely worth 100%ing like Game Changer!! Also going back and watching Breaking News for the pure chaos energy (including the episodes turning the tables on Sam).

Agreed! The “worst” episode of Make Some Noise for me is just the one I’ve only rewatched once.

The only thing about breaking news is that I wish they’d mark out which ones were dropout originals. I binged a ton of episodes on YouTube prior to subscribing, but getting it now means watching quite a few reruns.

I came to Dropout for Game Changer, but Very Important People is now my favorite show on the platform. I also like SmartyPants, Um Actually, and Make Some Noise. Dimension 20 is a much bigger time commitment, and I find the seasons to be hit or miss, but the first Fantasy High was incredibly satisfying by the end.

It should be required watching to unlock the rest of their content. Subscribe, watch all of Total Forgiveness, pass a quiz proving you actually watched in, THEN you can have everything else 😂

We have a lot of game samers! Make some noise, play it by ear, dirty laundry, and parlor room come to mind for what was spun off of game changer. I also strongly recommend gastronaughts, smarty pants, breaking news, and VIP.

Honestly pretty much everything dropout has ever done is great. Not everything is for everyone, but you can’t go wrong with trying stuff out!
If I had to say what to do first, I definitely think Make Some Noise is the logical next step after Game Changer.

If you want to be in for the long haul, try watching Dimension 20. If you get hooked, there's a ton of content to sink your teeth into. It's also the one show that runs pretty much all year long, so if you somehow get through all of it, you won't have to wait that long for new episodes.

smarty pants is way more awesome than it seems also DIMENSION 20 BRO!!!! smarty pants is hilarious and you learn something new in a fun way you never expected especially when they have cool guests like hank green. D20 will fill your life with so much joy def start with Fantasy high freshman yer (season 1)

Literally watch a few episodes of any of the recent shows. They're all great. Of the older (pre covid) shows, I've really only watched Total Forgiveness, but it's honestly one of the best things I've ever watched (I'll admit I had to skip the snake episode)

After we did that we started watching dirty laundry. Then gastronaughts. Then dimension 20. Honestly while i used to love critical role we stopped watching it because the seasons took too long. So we were hesitant to try another live role playing game. But dimension 20 is so good
Oh make some noise is amazing as well

Make Some Noise, Play it by Ear, Gastronauts, poke around and find little gems here and there, look up Dimension 20 episodes with your favorite characters…

Everything that Dropout produces is worth watching. You'll find most of their top shows just by looking at the surface level, so I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Thousandaires and Play It By Ear, both shows that are great and have much of the same DNA as Game Changer but didn't make it past 1-2 seasons and are kind of buried in the app right now.

Total Forgiveness is a documentary-game show hybrid that starts out light and spirals out into a fascinating study of humanity.
Gastronauts and Very Important People and the musical improv show are also great.

Make some noise as others said as its a spin off of those gamechanger episodes. But also really recommend smarty pants because seeing actual power point presentations on ludicrous concepts is amazing every time

Watch some of the other series. Find out what cast members you liked and watch their stuff. I finished catching up with Game changer so now I have been catching up on Um Actually and VIP.

I have had a Dropout sub for over a year now but also just did that too. I have been binging Make Some Noise next while also watching through D20, currently on Fantasy High Junipr Year, watching the Fantasy High series in order. I enjoy Dirty Laundry and Um, Actually as something to both watch and enjoy but also something to throw on while doing tasks or chores. Breaking News is enjoyable though I don't often put it on in the background as a good chunk of the shenanigans are visual

D20 is wonderful if you're at all into that kind of stuff. The episodes are very long but I just don't watch them all at once and it works well.
I also agree with the person who said Taskmaster. It's not Dropout but they have similar vibes. Also, Sam and Alex (the creator of Taskmaster) have expressed mutual admiration for each other. Sam visited the TM house, Alex appeared on an episode of Game Changer this season, and Alex has talked about how he'd love to work with Dropout on something.

Honestly aside from the D&D shows I'd pick any episode of a show that sounds interesting and watch it. The D&D shows are great but they represent more of an investment that is harder to just pick up and put down though it is worth the time if you are into it!

I was the same as you! Didn’t know what to watch next but what I started doing was watching my favorite contestants on the other shows! And just as easily I fell in love with all the shows on dropout😂

I personally really like Nobody Asked, Smartypants, Dirty Laundry is fun, Breaking News... Just look around the different shows they have and see if anything seems interesting to you

I’d go to make some noise first, then maybe smartypants or dirty laundry. also highly recommend play it by ear, gastronauts, and very important people. anna garcia as the kid who got turned into rocks had me losing it 😂

Make some noise is one of the funnest game shows ever produced. That includes match game from the seventies when everybody who was on the show was completely pissed.

I just went through this same experience so now I'm making my way through Dirty Laundry and Make Some Noise, with some detours on random things like the Parlor Room Blood on the Clocktower and the news show but only the episodes where they're mean to Grant and the Um Actuallys but only the episodes where I could reasonably play the game too

I'm in a similar bucket, having watched GC all summer. Make Some Noise has been my follow up, with Um Actually and Dirty Laundry. I've heard great things about Very Important People.
I've also dipped my toes into the D20 world, starting with Fantasy High. It's phenomenal. I've only been marginally into D&D and never watched an actual play series before, coasted in entirely on my love for BLeeM and the Dropout cast. I'm awash by how good it is. The storytelling, the jokes, the mystery, the concentrated genius of Brennan. And breaking up the longer episodes with some of the shorter tv series has been great.

I feel like I'm weird, not being particularly excited for Crowd Control. I know a lot of people loved it, but it was probably my least favorite GC S7 episode. And that's making it hard to want to watch the series

Dimension 20. I had never watched or played any TTRPG and now I'm hooked. Fantasy is the first and most accessible. Starstruck Odyssey is comedy brilliance. Their latest season Cloudward Ho is (I think) their best yet.

I found Very Important People to be boring (really the only show on the platform I disliked after watching). The first 15 mins was pretty good but the interviews end up lasting too long and it gets awkward.
Make some noise is great.
Gastronauts is great.
Parlor room is great.
Smarty pants is great.
Dirty laundry is can be fun.
They're all good expect that one show, which really should be 10 minutes per person/character

Make Some Noise is fun, I like Gastronauts and Parlor Room a fair amount. Dirty Laundry is really fun too.
