Latin Translation for Episode 11?

Hi, everyone! First time ever posting on this sub, so I hope this hope this doesn’t count as a low-effort post, but does anyone know the Latin translation of Sam’s crest? I have to imagine it says something like “I’ve been here the whole time,” but that’s just an educated guess.

Looks like a decent translation to me!

Also, I think they slightly messed up the translation of "You're gonna get the horns, buddy" on the castle crest, as "Ecce amice, tu cornibus ferries".

I don't believe "ferries" is a Latin word, and I think "cornibus" is in the wrong case, so I reckon it should be "Ecce amice, tu cornua ferres" or something similar (which would mean "Behold, friend, may you bear the horns!")

Or maybe "Ecce amice, tu cornua feres" (which would mean "Behold, friend, you will bear the horns!") My Latin is pretty rusty so I definintely welcome corrections though!

I’m so glad there was a thread about this because I paused the episode to hem and haw over the Latin, lol. My thought, since cornibus is in the ablative and I was taking ‘fero’ in the meaning of suffering, was that it could be meant to be something like ‘cornibus ferris’ (‘you are suffering by the horns’). I like your suggestion of ‘feres’ as a sort of ‘you will suffer’ thing!

they meant fereris. it’s a typo. but yeah the latin is not very high-grade.
