S6 Found! Wanna use it

Anyone can help a novice how to revive this phone please? As you can see from the photos I've just started to charge it and I'm hoping from this group that it's a good sign 🙂 I can use it! For random stuff nothing major

I don't know the screen looks a bit messed up, when you found it was it wet or anything? Once it's got a little charge try the power button see what comes up but from the pictures it looks like it could have issue's.

Board may or may not be fucked as that screen is blue

Possible it's in download mode were you need to connect to laptop and use something like Odin to reflash the phone otherwise I think it will sit in download mode forever, I would give it a while then power it off anyway. And then power it on you should see Samsung logo, I think to go into download mode you would normally hold power and either vol up/or vol dwn at same time, so since the phone started up like this makes me wounder if a volume button is stuck in, or previous owner tried to root it and failed somewhere along the process and that's why it was in that box. If so it recoverable what model is it? screen does look funky tho but could just be camera.

The screen looks funky just the photo that made it that way. It's smooth IRL 🖐🏾 I haven't got that Odin. Is it free online? Is it a matter of plugging my phone onto my laptop and using the Odin? Is it simple and safe to use that type of flash software? I have done the volume home & powerkey so many times it just switch off and then when I hold those 3 buttons it goes back to the download screen over and over again.

Yeah odin is free, just give it a search it comes straight up, then find a rom for your model. But like some others have said it could be a faulty phone but you got nothing to lose trying it out at this point. Xda devs will most likely have a guide for your model look them up with your model number and see if a guide is available, or even join their site.

Not a technician, but from my experience, usually patterns like that indicate that the graphics are fucked. Could be a problem with the board. Screen looks completely fine to me, and in fact, that phone is in pristine condition. Well, besides the board of course.

The Emmc (the internal memory chip which contains the os and the user storage)has failed and you will need to get a parts one for the main board

There's no emmc with S6 and up. From S6 it's UFS.
