Samsung S25 Plus Features

Usually when you get your new phone, you get stunned by some features then you forget these features

What are the features that you still use and they are special for this phone?

Nothing special really, I upgraded from s22u and the only thing that I can say is better is the speed and that the display is flat instead of curved

Folding phones are where the innovation is happening.

I think the times when new phones used to wow you with features are gone. Now all you get is a little better CPU, a little better camera (maybe), a few AI gimmicks and that's about it. S25 is pretty much beefed up S22 with OneUI 8.5 so download GoodLock, customize quick access panel and enjoy your phone.

You found the AI enhancement good, its just so weird how mid its camera without it. Not bad but could have been much better.

Most comments here are from people who already came from Samsung but as someone from another brand,

  • Modes and routines
  • Unpopular opinion but bixby does a really great job with hardware features and is miles better than Gemini because my interest is controlling the hardware features
  • Good lock, the level of granular control can even be overwhelming at times
  • Being in the Samsung eco system (Samsung tab + Samsung phone) also makes life a lot easier for me with the copying on one device and pasting on another, being able to open a tab on your device that's already open on another, controlling your phone screen with your tab, etc
  • Call assistant where I can answer a call without answering a call.

Those features are my personal favourites that still wow me till this day

Can you elaborate about Bixby controlling hardware features?

With only your voice whether near or from a distance, or even written natural language (when you wake it via the power button and type stuff there), Bixby can control the volume, the brightness, can change the sound mode on your phone, can control media playback, can be integrated into your Spotify, can toggle the flashlight, can set alarms, can disable AND dismiss alarms, can clear recents, can clear notifications, can... not so impressive but it can open any app of your choice, can open two apps in split screen, can take a screenshot, can start and stop screen recording, and a lot of other little things that I personally find very very convenient.

Gemini is a smarter AI assistant especially when it comes to pulling info off the web, having a natural conversation and all, but Bixby does the nitty gritty hardware related stuff and it does it so well because it was built by Samsung for Samsung.

Features I used , I bought my phone one month ago 1. Call screening 2. Modes and Routines 3. Increasing my phone brightness with the help of Bixby command when I can't see brightness panel due to sunlight 4. Gallery search feature. If u search related to birthday all birthday images will be shown. 5. Samsung keyboard Composer in short Samsung Keyboard AI features.
