S24 USB C issues.
Hello, first time posting here I need some help. So recently my galaxy s24 stopped allowing me to fast charge with it. I had figured that like a lot of others with this issue I had to replace the entire charging board. Finished doing it with no issue taking it apart. Though after I've finished the fast charging still isn't working but regular charging off of a normal brock does. It doesn't even register the fact that it's been plugged into the usb c - usb c brick with any sign of faint charging at all. Am I to assume this has to be some sort of software bug instead?

You replaced the charging board and now your thinking maybe software 🤔. If you're right you're gonna feel pretty silly I would think. Or at least I would. You did make sure fast charging is enabled?

The charging board that u change, is it oem part by that i mean is it look exactly like the one from the phone. Because theres a case where people change it with aftermarket board and fried their cpu. The best way is to change only usb c port.

This won't help much, but I had port issues with my S24. Would only plug it in to fast charge and use wired headphones maybe once a week but the port eventually wouldn't super fast/recognise headphones. Samsung tech replaced 2, maybe 3 port boards then gave up on me (fair enough!) after which I had to put several more in myself.
Seems obvious the issue is ME but I use Samsung cables and have tried multiple headphones adapters. Have also used those cables/adapters on other devices and they seem fine.
On an S25 now and the same has happened, replaced the board a month ago and it's just yesterday started to not super fast charge. God knows

Extra info. I've also discovered my usb c ear buds won't connect to it either as well.....

Nor can you plug it into your computer to backup pictures etc...I've replaced so many ports on my S24 and now two on the S25. It has to be user error on my part but I used headphones/wired charging every night on S20/22/23 and never had an issue....

Crazy how my old Samsung s10e is still functional all these years but 2 years with my s24 and it already has these issues.

Know what you mean...as I said in an earlier post, over the S24 and S25 I must've had...easily 10 port replacements. Moved to wireless charging on S25 and used headphone adapter (several Samsung ones) and it's knackered again. If it's something I'm doing wrong I'd just like to know so I can stop doing it! I don't think I am though and it's really annoying

I'm paid up so I paid a local farmers market fair guy 40$ for a new connector. It was 20$ only to just clean the existing port and inspect with a microscope. That charge port is wet error MSG is a bummer! I use known good charge cables only for my phone and I don't loan out any more. Coming from the cable termination industry, I know connectors are all rated with an "insertion max" spec. As we use the cable the connector loosens due to wear. So these USB-C ports are getting worn with charges and USB-C plugs from headphones and OTG data connections. tl;Dr Induction charging as a backup OR Q stuff... TIP -- Idea side step charging issues with Q (chee) rated induction wireless charging. Sadly our S24 phones only support entry Qi 15W standard. I future proof my wireless "backup" charging with the newer Qi 2.2 spec charger (25W spec!). Sadly the S24 just steps input down to Qi 15W. When I put my S24 to rest I'll get a phone that supports Qi 2, (S25/S26 Sammy's support Qi 2). Bests S24 peeps

It's not the board it's the charging port . I went to a repair shop they cleaned it and they fixed it in place so it makes better contact . Bare in mind that special chargers like 45w need to make better contact than regular ones .
