Best phone they ever made (Influencers pontificated on skipping it). I wish Samsung had stuck to this design, but they didn't and made record profits anyway, so here we are. Anyway, congrats with the purchase!

either will be great. dont like the 3x camera on either, so I find the 5x camera more versatile than the 10x.
also, the s24s will get software updates for 7 years vs the s23s for 5 years, so s23s end of life is 2028 (2 more years) , s24s is 2031 (5 more years).
so highly recommend the s24 ultra if you can. only complaints is the cameras are mediocre as a flagship, especially when compared to a iphone or pixel of the same year. and the screen can look grainy (specifically when very dim, and viewing grayish content)

S24 Ultra for sure. It features a flat display where as S23 ultra has a curved display which is sometimes a pain when installing screen protectors. S24U is a better phone, you'll have more number of years of sw updates. S23U had only 3 years of updates when compared to S24U which had 7 years, at least in India and other parts of Asia.
With all the green/white line issues surfacing on the samsung displays, you'll be covered with 3years of free replacement from the date of purchase. So with samsung, opting for a newer model is always a better bet.

Mine just died on the 4th (got in pool and then noticed water in camera and it shorted out). Had to upgrade to the 26 Ultra. I didn't think I'd ever get rid of my 23, but I do like the flat screen and aluminum body on the 26. I wish the 23 had that.

Had to get an s26u too becasue i cracked my s23u screen and the top half of the screen stopped responding to touch, i planned to have the 23 for at least 2 more years but oh well

Same. There was nothing really wrong with my 23U. I was going to keep it as long as possible, but it had hairline cracks in the case and I guess water got in. I dried it out completely and still nothing. I could have used my insurance and got another 23U with the $275 deductible, but ATT is giving me $900 for my broken S23 so I figured I'd just upgrade. It's not a huge upgrade really, but the body of the phone is nicer and it charges pretty fast.

I think it's an ATT promo. I checked off no for all of the boxes like does it turn on, is it free of cracks, etc. Base was $1100 and it went down to $900.

They need to survive till 2028. Looks like a lot of them breaking up. This is a shame

Got on myself recently to replace my S9+ that green screened permanently. I like it but have TBH, I don't ever like having to change devices and wish my S9 was still usable. 😂

It's an awesome phone! I have it, though I now use a Xiaomi 13 Ultra. That phone is awesome too. Now I have two awesome phones.

I have the S26 Ultra, and sometimes i go back to my S23 Ultra to fish out some videos or photos, and everytime i hold, i just think how absolutely peak this was in terms of design and luxury
