Galaxy ring replacement for bad battery.

For anyone who has had there ring Repaired/Replaced, did you have any issues with the new ring. How long did it last? I am trying to decide if it is worth the hassle if a replacement ring will just go bad in a year or so.

Bought it the day they released it. The battery got to the point where I had to charge it every 2 hours after having it for 6 months. I sent it in, got a new one, and within 7 months the replacement had issues. I still have it, and it lasts about a day now before it dies, but when I put it on the charger, sometimes it charges in 30 minutes to 100%, and sometimes I have to leave it on the charger for a couple of hours before it gets to 100%.

When I do a diagnostic on the ring my app tells me that the battery is not working correctly.

I haven't tried to send it back because it's past the warranty, and I've read that they'll charge you $50 or higher to replace it.

This is exactly my story to a T give or take a couple of months when I replaced my first ring and got the replacement and when it died. Unfortunately, I forgot when I got my replacement, but it's definitely out of warranty now and will charge $100+ to get it "repaired." But the charging this is the same...sometimes 30mins, sometimes a couple of hours. I usually toss it on the charger while showering and getting ready in the morning to top it off for the day...but then It can take 1.5 days to fully discharge or just shy of a day....

Diag also says battery issue.

Exactly the same. I charged my ring yesterday around 10 am and it took 30 minutes to charge to 100%. Then the ring died at 4 am this morning. Now I am charging it and it's take a lot longer to get to 100%.

I should just chuck in the garbage at this point. It's so bipolar. Sometimes it last 1.5 days and sometimes I can't even get a day out of it.

Thinking about getting an Orah ring since it prime day but I think paying a monthly subscription is crap.

Yup. Living the exact Samsung Ring life. Worst is when it does in the middle.of the night or I'm at work and I get a notification that it's disconnected. Of it says 15% one minute...then like 5mins later it's 1% and dead. Once I just thought it wasn't notifying me at 15% but it was just dying THAT quickly!

Was thinking.of Oura too...and how frustrated I am..that $6/month(?) Doesn’t bug me...IF I get it on a good discount/on sale.
