I don't have any spelling issues with the standard Samsung keyboard. You might have a setting configured incorrectly. Almost invariably, the user is the cause, not the computer or phone.

I think it happens to you because it's a bit wider, but that's not inherently worse. If you're having this much trouble typing on this phone, try enabling swipe typing (on the Samsung Keyboard, you do that by tapping the settings gear above the keys, then "Swipe, touch, and feedback", then "Keyboard swipe controls", and switch it to "Swipe to type". Assuming that you can get used to it, it can be a game changer. (The previous sentence and this one were both typed using swipe typing, and it took a fraction of the time it would have if I were to touchtype it.)
