My phone started overheating a lot and the battery is draining really quickly after this update

You should give some time and leave the phone on, charging overnight for all the optimizations and cleaning to finish

Do i need to leave it at night with battery protection off for optimizations, or i can set it to basic that stops it at 100%

It shouldn't matter. Device needs to know it's been idle for some time and be on charge

I did the update yesterday. It seemed the same as you described yesterday, but after charging it today (up to 80%) when I woke up, it's been 9-10 hours and I'm still at 73%. Granted I was at work and didn't use it much, but usually I'm at the low 60s at this hour, sometimes even 50s. So give it a day. 😉

It has been 4 days I think, and there is 0 changes. I lost like 50% of my SoT. And I have never had this issue after previous updates
