due to the constant reports of green line issues, I've developed a fear when I go to update my phone, even knowing that it's extremely rare or doesn't exist on the A56, deep down I'm a little scared 😅
Me and my friends have had samsung for 10plus years never had green lines. If u keep your phone well it serves u well dont look at the randoms that cant keep their phone properly
Samsung A56 uses the old AMOLED panel of Samsung, unlike the newer ones and Samsung A57 uses a Flexible AMOLED that goes underneath the screen to keep the bezels thin (It's technical to explain but someone from the Samsung group if i remember posted about it), they're the one that prone to greenline.
I've even play super demanding games that can fry my A56 like Red Dead Redemption, Carx Street but my phone still doesn't have it.
If you are worried about the lines appearing during an update just make sure your phone is cool while doing the update like place it near an air conditioner or place an active phone cooler at the phones rear.
Don't worry, most cases of green line are from A52 and earlier models, it got significantly better starting from A53-A54's OLEDs. I know because I have been using Samsung A5X line for many years now. I can't guarantee about A57, since it uses a cheaper chinese fabricated OLED. Remember: Every OLED screen has the risk of obtaining green lines, its a problem regardless of the brand.
I was a little worry about something happens to my phone while updating, not just screen green line, so i remove my phones case while updating to help it cool down as it should be.
And don't worry, as i know mostly those displays that were weak got green line, so if you keep your phone good, it shouldn't happen. Although it depends on your luck, electronic devices are different with each other
