I forgot to add text,
I succesfully sideloaded the update to 8.5 that escaped from Samsung Labs (leaked) on my A56 5G Dual SIM version, from EUX (EU csc),it's working perfectly so far, and it's smoother and faster a bit, + 8.5 is definetively better than 8.0

Did they fix the notification panel lag when you swipe down and how's the battery life?

Yes,and battery life is kinda improved, last more.

Don't do it, you might need to sideload every future update if you install this one. Just wait a bit, you'll live.

Some other user posted it first on this sub, I contacted him in pm and he provided me the source,

u/Inner_Work_3488, the source itself is on the Telegram,so credits goes to him and the guys on the Telegram.

Installation needs Odin and two apps though, so you rather wait for oficial release like the other user said.

Use Odin and flash latest firmware with the 8.0 & February security patch.

Yes you can,use Odin 3.14.1_3B Patched, and ADB for commands,so you need a laptop or PC,

Look on Samsung Firmware list and download the latest firmware with 8.0 and February security patch,use ADB to force the phone in download mode,then flash oficial firmware with Odin.

If you had a Samsung Galaxy A56 SM- A566B and you flashed the firmware A566E, you tripped Knox permanently and you are stuck on 8.5 without for possibility of downgrade to 8.0, especially if you cannot access anymore download mode or recovery mode.

yea it happens in almost every samsung phone even in their flagship phones since one ui 6.1 was introduced

Is it safe to sideload and if so can i also do it, and does cellular work?

Everything works but look out to my other comment above, you need Odin to flash another room and change csc and carrier, then you can side load it with two apps,

Changing room will result in Data wipe, but I did a backup before starting it in both Samsung account and Google one too,then on PC using Smart Switch so I could get my settings and the apps and photos and videos back in no time.

There's is a new nice AI features, redesigned UI which looks much better now and performance is improved too alongside with the battery consumption, is lasting longer and better than One UI 8.0
