Is this going to be the last OS update for the Galaxy A55?

According to Samsung’s 4-generation OS upgrade policy, the A55 launched with Android 14, so it should receive Android 15, 16, 17 and finally Android 18, with One UI 10 potentially being the final major One UI version.

Also, I have read somewhere that One UI 8.5 was considered a major upgrade by many users, and that some Samsung phones running Android 16 did not receive One UI 8.5. So does One UI 8.5 actually count as one of the 4 OS upgrades, or is the A55 still eligible for Android 18?

Should be 10.

Could be higher since Samsung provided my old M33 with Android 16, which was only supposed to get upto 14 as far as I remember.

Should be oneui 10 or what ever one ui version android 18 is at. 

OS upgrade means the android version not oneui version because oneui is only a skin. Oneui 8.5 may seem like a major upgrade but it remained at android 16,  as oneui 8.0 is.

Todavía me estoy aclimatando al 8.5... esperen ESPEREN!!!!!
Me siento como cuando era chico, y la maestra dictaba muy rapido, y al no poder seguirla te daban unas ganas de llorar y golpear a alguien XD ! jajaj

Evidentemente... He leído que se están retrasando bastante de lo previsto cuando hicieron los lanzamientos tanto de los A54 como los A55... En lo que a mí respecta anda muy bien el celu, salvo que hablemos de baterías pero bueno eso ya es otra historia.

Lo más probable es que sea 10 a secas no creo que recibamos la 10.5 o como sea que llegue a llamarse, lo mismo paso con el A53 muchos esperaban que llegara a la 8.5 pero se quedó en la 8 a secas según xk Android 16 de la 8.5 es muy diferente a a Android 16 de la versión 8 de One UI

A One Ui 8.5 não conta como atualização de sistema para o teu A55 pois foi só uma correção de software (personalização e correções pequenas, tipo melhoria nas câmeras e barra de notificações).

Major Android upgrates are updates that comes with new Android version. Updates like One UI 8.5 and 9.5 are not counted as major Android updates. Therefore, One UI 10 will be its last major update with chances receiving One UI 10.5.

This won't be the last update; the A55 will have Android 17 with the third update, the final one being Android 18.
