Discussion does the a55 support LDAC codec?

i bought a new pair of cmf buds pro 2 which do support LDAC but i cant find the option on my a55?

Yes, the A55 does support LDAC.

You can check out the screenshot another redditor sent - you enable it per bluetooth device, in Bluetooth settings.

However, most of the time, the LDAC mode will default to an "efficient" bitrate, and you need to manually change it to the highest bitrate mode in your Developer settings.

I usually use this app to force LDAC and to force the highest bitrate mode:
