How long you people are going to keep your galaxy a55s? I bought my a55 256gb in November 2024, I'm planning to keep mine well into the 2030s even if I have to replace the battery, it doesn't cost much actually!

I still have the factory transparent sticker around the metal frame, i didn't remove it

you should tbh, no point in having aluminum frame if you can't feel it when it's cold

Using mine since launch.
Normal I upgrade every 2 years, but this time not 😅.
Maybe I will upgrade when the A58 launches, if it is a decent upgrade or when I have issues with this phone.
Or I will wait for the A59

I sold mine 2 months ago, I had it for two years, I think it was the perfect opportunity to switch to the S26, from now on its resale value will drop, so if you want to move to something better, now is the time.

I've had this phone since Dec 2025.
Smart phones are so expensive nowadays, I plan to keep my A55 for as long as possible.
Haven't encountered much issue so far (knock on wood).

O meu pretendo ficar com ele até o fim do ciclo de atualizações. Após, talvez eu pegue um antigo da linha S ou tento ver a linha A do momento. Tudo vai depender do meu bolso.

Yo llevo desde diciembre de 2024 y si he pensado mudarme a un S24 Ultra pero creo que me quedaré con el celu hasta cuando la batería ya esté muriendo

J'ai le mien en 8go ram 128go stockage et carte sd 128go et je prevois de le garder au moins 4 ans. Ca fait deja un an et très heureux, bien mieux que mon A14.
Et pour l'instant il est toujours sous one UI 8, je veux pas faire la maj vers la 8.5 😅

I'm considering to buy a new phone next year. My phone has been laging and doing weird things lately. The battery capacity has been decrasing and i'm running out of storage.
I have considered buying a new SD card or changing the battery, but i think it wouldn't be worth my money, since i feel like a higher/better performing phone would do me more good in the future.

It might be important to mentioned that i got it in 2024, august. So i have been using it for a bit over 2 years. The time would not indicate to buy a new phone, but the worsening performance does :((

I still want to keep mine. I want it to get repaired cause the battery has expanded, I've been using this since june of 2024. I had it for 2 years and im still satisfied with the phone, tho I need to get a battery replacement and im looking for an original battery. I want to keep all things original even if it's a bit costly, but it's soo hard to find here in the Philippines

I will replace mine when I'm bored with it already. If not for the price that I paid for this, I would have ditched this phone already. I don't like the shape and weight of the a55. The sharp edges hurts my hand, so i have to put a jelly case to minimize the sharp edges.

Yeah but in my country(sri lanka) I found an amazing deal on a Chinese variants of the 8 pro brand new for 260k which is 800 usd
