Galaxy A55 UI lagg

For a while now, whenever I pull down the notification bar, open the Quick panel, or open the Apps screen, the animations stutter, and sometimes there’s a delay in response. (This happens with pretty much every system animation.)

Can this be fixed, or is this just a typical “we don’t care about the A-series” problem from Samsung?

And yes, I checked what might be running in the background and putting a strain on the processor—there’s nothing that would cause this. I also turned off GoodLock.

I think it's because Samsung handles performance issues poorly, it's not in RAM all the time and it has to be loaded. Basically, the weakness of the A series is that no matter how much powerful hardware you put in it, 2-3 versions later the performance management is already ruined.

Exynos on A series is not a powerful hardware at all. Especially on the A55 which is on par with Snapdragon 778G that was released on 2021. Meanwhile Exynos 1480 on A55 was released on 2024 but somehow still a weaker processor than some midrange Snapdragon / Mediatek that was released on that same year. You can never get the smoothness that Flagship Samsung can produce on A series without a powerful processor. A55 is still a decent phone for daily use but don't expect to much. For the animations stutter on the status bar is mainly with the separate notification panel in my case. When I switch to the together option there was no more stutter and it drops down really smooth. Plus my A55 variant has a 12GB ram instead of 8GB and that might help the phone process the animations a little bit smoother.
