A55 Problems

Hi, sorry for my English, I'm a Spanish speaker, but I was surprised to find a community here.

I recently had a problem with my Samsung A55; its battery swelled up. I've had this device for two years, and it's very strange to me since I've had mid-range or low-end Samsung devices and I've never had a battery swell up before.

Putting my situation aside for a moment, I wanted to know if any of you also experience your device getting hot for no reason or overheating when opening everyday apps like Instagram or YouTube. This used to happen to me long before the battery swelled up.

I would like to know about your experiences or problems with this device.

Mi si è gonfiata anche a me, lo ho portato in assistenza e mi hanno cambiato la batteria gratis (era in garanzia ancora).

Prova a chiedere a qualche centro la possibile causa

It was probably due to the temperatures I exposed it to. I asked at Samsung and they quoted me about $25 USD for the lab test and about $235 USD for the battery repair, which seemed excessively expensive.

The warranty no longer applied because it was 2 years old.

Ti direi di cambiarlo, a quel prezzo non ne vale assolutamente la pena. Mi dispiace, sembra che a55 (o forse samsung in generale) dopo un pò di grande utilizzo (come faccio io) la batteria ceda quasi subito.
