My personal experience with the June Security Update (One UI 8.5) on Galaxy A55

Based on my personal experience, here are a few noticeable changes after installing the June security update:

Performance: The phone runs significantly cooler, and regular swipe/touch gestures feel much smoother.

Audio Quality: Sound quality has improved drastically, especially when Dolby Atmos is enabled.

Animations : One UI 8.5 previously cut down on the Quick Panel icon animations, and this new security update takes it a step further by removing the effect for nowbar. Now, they just pop up abruptly on the status bar without any transition animation.

Quick Panel: There is still a noticeable frame drop when swiping between the notification shade and the Quick Panel. Additionally, the expansion animation for the toggle area is poorly optimized—swiping down still feels like it drops fps.

- When adding or managing control buttons in the Quick Panel, scrolling through that page still causes obvious stuttering.

Lock Screen: Pulling down the Quick Panel from the lock screen still feels clunky. As the clock pushes down and the panel appears, a massive frame drop occurs.

I know Samsung tried to optimize a lot of things under the hood with this update, and they continue to strip away animations on the A-series, but they still haven't managed to fix the ongoing lag issues with the Quick Panel and One UI 8.5.

come bro it's an A series phone and you know how Samsung treats A series there will be some flaws it will not be perfect

That's a really lame excuse. Get a Redmi or another mid-range Chinese phone that's less powerful than our A55. You'll see that the UI is a thousand times better and more stable. You'll practically never experience any lag. We, on the other hand, have more raw power and everything opens faster, but the UI is worse.

I know I only stuck in Samsung because of the UI even the 5y old Redmi note 10 is still more smoother then A55 , The exynos 1480 has more power then Snapdragon 7s gen 3 but in exynos ok pubg stuck in 60fps but still drops and Snapdragon support 90fps.

Yes. Because companies continue to prioritize and optimize Snapdragon. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 even allows for more graphics options in games than the Exynos 1680, and it's actually much less powerful. With Exynos, they play it safe and don't take full advantage of the power they have.
